You have found the personal website for Richard Neumann. I have designed this site to help potential clients, employers and investors get a better feel for whom I am and what I can accomplish. It's difficult to explain my background when I have a distinct split between my right and left brain endeavors. I can run all of the business and financial aspects of a half-billion dollar corporation and I can design and build amazing theatre sets. I can write business plans and children's books, I can raise venture funding and raise a free standing circus tent, and I can design alternate fueled vehicles and managed international business deals.
How do you put that into one resume?
You don't. The solution is to give people a chance to discover on their own.
On the left is my Traditional Experience from twenty plus years in entrepreneurial and corporate finance. This also includes my past business ventures and links to some of my current ones.
On the right are listed my Creative Endeavors.
It is interesting to note that some of my projects have finally come into their own. In the late 70's I pulled together a small group of engineers. We designed and began production on the prototype of an alcohol powered commute car. We figured when gasoline hit $2.00 we were in like Flint. The concept and the design are still valid. PrintQue is still a cutting edge technology for the flexible packaging industry. At last year's GraphExpo rumor has it, PrintQue was still on the minds of many equipment manufacturers. We have retained the proprietary designs and software for this company. Finally the concept of Valley of the Moon Romances was to distribute romance novels in video form on DVD's. After a recent trip to Tokyo on the horizon is the opportunity to take this concept to the next generation and make it applicable to cell phones.
